After my first part of creating my blue orb i then Added effects and edited the appearence of the orb. Firstly i used the smudge tool to create these fins in the orb. I done this by smudging from the center of the orb to the outer edge of it with a hardness of 60%.

I then created these bubbles which are coming away from the center of the orb towards the end of the tail of it. I created this effect by selecting the brush tool and then editing the scatter, space, size, hardness and count jitter. By doing these i made the bubbles go from a large bubble to small bubble. I then changed the colours of the bubbles and theopacity of them.
