Proposal for Poster
For this project I am going to create a poster for revolution art. The theme for my poster is an underwater them. I would create my final piece by using programs such as Photoshop, Fireworks and Flash. My idea for this is to put land animals under water and also add a couple of scuba divers to the image to make it look more realistic.
Final poster outcome evaluation.
I think that i did quite well in my poster because i used tools that i have never used before and made them work really well with my poster. I have had past experiences with Photoshop so i made this poster to the best of my ability. I could of added some more features in to it such as a couple of swimming past or maybe could of added a couple of effects such as a lens flare to make the picture look brighter. One thing i did make a mistake on was putting an inner shadow, and outer glow and an inner glow on to the leopard. I didn't keep these effects because i eventually thought that they looked odd in the picture. Also i put a faint shadow in the bottom left of the poster but i didn't keep that either as it made the picture a bit too dark.

This is my final outcome of my poster.
To start with I chose a background and put a couple of shadows in there to give it more effect. I then chose a picture of shipwreck in the bottom of the sea bed and edited it so it would blend in with the scene. I also added the picture of and old crashed plane in the bottom of the seabed a swell. I then added a shadow underneath the old plane by using the elliptical marque tool and filling it with black and finally adding the Gaussian blur to it. To make both of these pictures fit in better I placed a layer mask over them and used the brush tool to get rid of any unwanted features in these pictures.
After completing that i started to add some land animal in the water. First i added the leopard and the cubs. i done the same process as i did to the shipwreck and the old plane but i also added a shadow underneath them on their body by using blending options on them layers. I then added the to tigers which are hunting the dolphin. I did the same method as i used on the leopard and cubs but i also used the blur tool on the tigers' back to give it the effect that it is moving quickly. I then placed the pictures of the monkeys in there and used the layer mask and the shadow method on them as i did before. I then placed them into position as if they were swinging from the shipwreck. After doing all of this i lowered the opacity of all the animals and put different blending modes on each layer to make the fit into the picture.
after putting the land animals in i decided to add underwater animals to it. Firstly I added the dolphin in front of the two tigers to make it look like that they were hunting the dolphin. I used the layer mask method and the blur effect to the dolphin to make it blend in and make it look like its moving. I then the big shark to the top of the picture, using the same method as i did to the dolphin, and made the underneath of the shark darker. Again i lowered the opacity of all the animals and put different blending modes on each layer to make the fit into the picture.
Finally i added two divers to the picture and again used the layer mask method and also used blending modes to them to make them fit into the picture. I then adjusted the opacity.

Intro to Typography
Typography is a technique of arranging type and type design. This includes fonts such as sans-serif, serif and script. Sans-serif is just plain text, no swirls or curls, just plain text. Serif is the sane as sans-serif just with curly bits on the ends of letters. Script is a curly font which swirls around and the leading is quite big. This means that the letters are spaced further apart than usual.
In this picture i have edited a picture of a shark to add text to it.
I staerted off by selecting the text tool and then choosing a place on my image in which I would want the text. once i was happy where I wanted it I made the text colour white and chose a bigger font size and and selected a different font.
After this I done the same process again but this time put the text in a different place. Also I chose a grey colour, a different font and font size.

Photoshop Rhino / leopard
I have made this in Photoshop. It is a rhino with a leopard skin placed over the top of it. I done this by putting the picture of the leopard over the picture of the rhino. after that I decreased the opacity of the leopard and then entered liquify mode. In liquify I stretched the skin of the leopard, as good as I can without making it look really stretched, over the shape of the rhino.
After spending time in liquify mode I exited that then added a mask to the leopard layer and selected the brush tool, making sure the colour selected was black, then went around the outline of the rhino getting rid of parts of the leopard skin that I did not need. I also done this around the rest of the picture to get rid of the leopard pictures background.
After completing this stage I used the clone stamp tool to to fill in the rhinos last leg with the leopard skin pattern. I then put a dark light effect on the leopard skin to make it really stand out.
